1 Week Fast from Twitter and Facebook

I've randomly came across a thought and I've realized how much time and brain energy I waste on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter. I find myself updating my statuses every 30 seconds to once every hour or so, reading other people's statuses (because I'm nosy), and basically repeating the aforementioned until I've ultimately wasted HOURS of my day and productivity. I'm ready to break some bad habits and spending too much time on Facebook and Twitter are just a couple of them. Thus, I've decided to give them up for at least 1 WHOLE WEEK with the intention of replacing them with something else such as reading a book or engaging in more physical activity (but not limited to such). However, just so I wont go too insane, I'll post videos or blog entries each day of my fast in order to give an update on how I'm spending my time in place of chatting on social networks. And, I vow to be completely honest about my experience :-) I plan to start my fast around 12 midnight; early Friday morning. I'm confidant that I can do this.

By the way, there's currently no internet at my apartment. So, as I'm typing this, I'm actually at my lab bench waiting for a PCR to finish. There's free Wifi at the building I'm working in. Thus, I can only blog at places where I'm able to retrieve internet (I know, I'm pretty lame). None the less, I will update my entries whenever and however I can.
